About TITLE I
Purpose of the Title I, Part A Program:
The purpose of Title I, Part A is to ensure that all children, particularly low achieving children in the highest-poverty schools, have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging State academic achievement standards and state academic assessments.

HISD Title I, II & IV, Part A
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We encourage all families to complete the Parent and Family Engagement Survey when it opens in the spring. The purpose of this yearly survey is to see how well your child’s school partners with you and encourages your family’s engagement in your child’s education. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your feedback is anonymous. The survey link will be available via Parentsquare when the window opens. If you need assistance in completing this survey, please reach out to staff at your child(ren)'s school. Please remember: If all your children attend the same school, you only have to complete one survey. For each school that your child(ren) attend, a survey must be completed.
